3D PRINTING SERVICE LOW COST

An antique car enthusiast came to us to 3D print a rough resolution (draft version) PLA 3D print to test the fit of a part his buddy designed for him.

Since dimensional accuracy was critical, a calibration cube was also printed to verify dimensional accuracy & control for shrinkage.

Here was the FDM PLA 3D printed parts all finished!

The draft version PLA parts were almost a carbon copy of the original.

As expected, even though the parts were low resolution (cost-effective), they didn’t sacrifice any dimensional accuracy & fit like a glove.

A more cosmetic resin version was printed for showing clients at tradeshows.

As you can see, with a little sanding, the resin parts had the smoothness of injection molded parts.

We were glad that we helped restore a tiny but memorable part of history!
