SHARK TANK 3D SCANNING PRODUCT DESIGN

The Dirty Cookie, founded by Shahira Marei, produces a unique shot glass-shaped cookie that saw sales in 2020 increase by 2.5x (with over 35,000 customers). What inspired her to start her business was the desire to create something meaningful and the dream to use the profits to support non-profit causes focused on educating children.

Shahira wanted to take her business to the next level. So she went to pitch The Dirty Cookie on Shark Tank. Robert Herjavec agreed to invest $500,000 for 25% of her company. As evident in the footage, she was delighted.

Shahira wanted custom packaging for her cookies and reached out to Mineeform for 3D scanning & 3D printing. We received an expedited box full of cookies and began 3D scanning each one right away.

Our 3D scanner generated millions of point clouds, which we promptly converted to mesh and exported as STL files for 3D printing.

The management team at The Dirty Cookies opted for rough resolution FDM 3D prints in dark brown because they needed something both fast & also cost-effective.

These 3D printed samples will be sent to packaging companies around the world to develop a custom experience to reinforce The Dirty Cookie brand.

Shihara looked delighted to take delivery of the 3D scans & 3D prints. We were equally delighted to be able to be part of the epic Dirty Cookie journey.
